I am a Biomedical Engineer who graduated from Texas A&M University. Being a woman in STEM is something that is so important to me for several reasons. My mother broke several barriers by becoming a mechanical engineer back in her home country of Pakistan, something that is very impressive today but even more so back then. I truly believe that I was able to become the person I am today by having her as a role model, and I hope that by pursuing this field, I can serve as a role model for others.

Many people think Engineering is just science, but I am one of the believers that science itself is an art. With that, I like to utilize my creativity as much as possible. I have my own wedding decor company that I run on the side as much as I can to keep up with different forms of creative media. I also love to sew, read, and build Legos in my free time!
